Poor Ella! She spent most of her life braving the outside world, fending for her life and her children's lives. She gave birth to her wonderful litter of six kittens behind a shed in Cologne. She did what she could to survive. With the temperatures plummeting, some kind soul brought her and her babies inside in December. Even though Ella has been outside her whole life, she immediately told her rescuer how she felt about being brought inside - by purring up a storm and settling right down on his lap. She's unbelievably friendly. Ella is absolutely loving being inside - and warm!
Once Ellsa gets to know you, she is a bit of an attention grabber. Walk by her without patting her head and Ella will flop down at your feet, exposing her belly. She loves attention. Pet her, pet her, pet her! She has a big heart. She's a wonderful momma. And true to calico form, she has A LOT of opinions about EVERYTHING.
Ella Fitzgerald would like to go home with one of her children (perhaps Rosemary Clooney or Cab Calloway). She would make an excellent solo cat, too. If you have another cat in the house, she'd prefer it to be a male cat. Calico cats have a dominating personality and she would do better with a male cat lest there be a diva showdown.

Ella Fitzgerald's adoption fee is $120.
