Hello! I am Mittens, a petite black and white girl. I’m mostly black but I have white mittens, hence my name. I’m a very gentle girl and one of the sweetest kittens you’ll ever meet! I LOVE attention and I always look forward to the times when my foster caregiver comes down to my room. When she does, I’ll squeak and hop right into her lap. Then, I’ll start my soft purr and rub my sleek head all over her. I’ll roll onto my back and curl my paws up for her to rub my white belly. Sometimes, she’ll hold me belly up like a baby, and in response, I’ll blink up at her! I like my chin scratched too and will close my eyes blissfully if you stroke it. I also like to lick my foster caregiver’s arm, because why not!

I wouldn’t call myself hyper, unlike some crazy kittens I’ve met, but I definitely love to play! Those ping pong balls that bounce across the floor are really fun to chase after… until they decide to hide under the furniture - that’s no fun! I also really like cat springs - I’ll chase them around and carry them around in my mouth. Sometimes, I’m too scary for the, too, so they hide under the furniture with the ping pong balls. My foster caregiver’s very nice, and will use a paper towel tube to shoot them out. I always sit next to her to try to catch them - haha they won’t get away from me again! Catnip puff balls are also super fun! And cat dancers! And my catnip mousey! You get the idea: I love toys! And of course, my brother, Knight, is super fun to wrestle with.

Besides getting petted and playing with toys, I also love to sit in a windowsill and watch all those crazy animals outside. I’ll crouch down low to watch as birds soar by, and stand up on my tippy toes to peer at the bunnies as they nibble at the grass.   I’d love to go to a home where I can get plenty of attention and I promise to be your loyal buddy for the next decade or two! I need to be adopted with my brother and best friend, Knight, so come pay us both a visit!

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
