Do you know what a Mirai is? I bet not, ‘cause it’s a secret! But I gotta tell you anyway because I’m terrible at keeping secrets! The Mirai is Toyota’s new hydrogen-fuel-cell car. How cool is that? Though there’s one part of me that doesn’t quite live up to the Toyota Mirai. The Mirai is supposed to be quiet, but instead, my purring motor runs loud and strong… and I bleat. Yes, you heard me correctly; my meow sounds just like a sheep, well actually more like one of those stuffed sheep toys that you squeeze to make it bleat! When I first arrived home with my foster caregiver, she picked me up and I snuggled right into her arms. I started my loud motor and then began to bleat. She couldn’t help but laugh!

If I’m in the mood for some petting, which is often, I’ll follow you around everywhere and rub my tabby fur against your legs until you bend down to pick me up or give me a kiss. I’ll call to you, too, to make sure you know that I’m not just a piece of dust flying by your leg. But if I’m not in that mood, chances are I’m ready to play! I’ve got speedy little legs and will charge around my room, through the tunnel, behind the dresser, and… pounce! Right onto my kitty friend or a toy as it skitters by. After I tire out, I will flop down and look cute! And of course, I’d gladly take some more attention and will make biscuits in the air with my paws.

Please come visit me and fall in love with my unique voice and charming personality!  I just hope your home has enough laps and hands to pet me.  I'm very bonded to my kitten friends Murano, Azera and Spark so I'd be even happier if you adopted me with one of them.

Mirai is a young kitten and needs to be adopted to a home with a young cat or with another young kitten so he has a playmate.

Note:  Mirai is available for pre-adoption. You can meet him in his foster home now, however, since he has yet to be neutered or tested for FeLV/FIV, he cannot go home until after he recovers from his surgery and has been tested (which will be in a few weeks).

To learn more about this kitten, call Joan at 651-705-6264.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
