Hi hi hi, I’m Spark!!! Like the car, the Chevy Spark, ya know? My foster caregivers named me this because I always have my motor running and I have such a sparky personality! I don’t actually have a motor of course; I just purr! My brakes don’t work that well, however, but who needs them really! I am constantly running around my room, pouncing on my kitty friends, finding random toys or just bouncing off the walls. Instead of taking long naps, I take short five-minute naps where I flop on a table and close my eyes. Sometimes I make myself look even more adorable by hanging a paw off the edge of the table. If you pet me, I’ll get my motor going loud and strong and stretch out my white toesies.
I’ll tell you a secret: there is one place I will sit still. That’s in front of a window. But even there, I am so alert as I stare wide eyed at all those crazy animals outside that make weird noises. It’s so obvious that I just love life! Once I get past my initial caution, I am very adventurous and love to make new friends. About two weeks after my two buddies and I settled in our foster home, a new kitten showed up. While everyone else was being very hesitant and a little hissy (as most cats will be with new cats) I walked right up and tried to introduce myself… and got hissed at. But I didn’t give up until I had made a new friend! Please come pay me a visit. Once I get to know you, there I will be, in one corner, then the other corner, on top of a kitty friend, in a bag, or in your lap trying to catch the waving piece of cardboard! I’m an active cat and would do well in an active household. I’m good with kids as long as they know how to be gentle and understand I am a live cat, not a stuffed animal. And oh yeah, you won’t lose me either because my purr can be heard from miles away! Since I have SO much energy, I need to be adopted with or into a home with another young kitten friend. Come check out my other buddies in my foster home, Mirai, Azera, and Murano!
Spark is a young kitten and needs to be adopted to a home with a young cat or with another young kitten so he has a playmate.
Note: Spark is available for pre-adoption. You can meet him in his foster home now, however, since he has yet to be neutered or tested for FeLV/FIV, he cannot go home until after he recovers from his surgery and has been tested (which will be in a few weeks).
Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
To learn more about this kitten, call Joan at 651-705-6264.
The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
