Then there’s my sister Mittens, who hangs upside down, and my brother Pedro, who is sweet but shy, and, of course, our esteemed mom, Edna, who, at the moment, wants no part of any humans. We are all black-and-white; choose one, choose us all!”

Our foster people say that I’m a complete entertainment package – better than cable or DirecTV or Xbox – and I do my own programming. I’m the fluffiest of our little bi-color family. I get along with everybody – cats, big people, little people, laser pointers. I am Checkers – cute, charming. I can do it all.”

“I do serene and calm while my sister is doing her one-woman riot. I watch. I am wiser than she; I only go wild if there’s a good reason – like toys, treats, and wide-eyed people just waiting to see what’s coming next. Look into my stunning gold eyes – and see the magic of my universe.”
