Hi, I’m Poppy! I am the goofy boy. I’m known to pretend blankets are prey and will try to “kill” them. I also “steal” toys while in actuality, I just roll around and look adorable. I’m the squeaker of the family, too. When I was very small and first came to my foster home, I had a lot to say. And I was loud. My foster caregivers would be upstairs and would hear loud squeaking. They were very confused because they didn’t think a one-pound kitten would be able to make such a noise. I’m a much quieter squeaker now, though I will say something if there is something to say. If one of my siblings is trying to wake me up from a nap, I’ll squeak in protest. If I’m trying to eat Chia’s food (she’s a slow eater), and my foster caregiver takes me away, I’ll squeak. And if I want licking from Mama Semilla, I’ll squeak and rub up against her. I also squeak just to be cute and will gaze at my foster caregiver with big, round eyes. She’ll usually pick me up and I will give her kisses on the nose.
I have a lot of stamina for playing. While my siblings will settle down after an hour or so of playing, I can go on for two! But staying up to play while my siblings sleep isn’t quite so fun because I have to entertain myself. I’m not extremely hyper, like my sister Pumpkin, though I am very playful.
I don’t know what I would do without one of my siblings at my side. That is why I would really love to be adopted with one of them. Check them out: Sesame, Flax, Chia, Pumpkin, and Sunflower.
Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
Note: Poppy is available for pre-adoption. You can meet him in his foster home now, however, since he has yet to be neutered or tested for FeLV/FIV, he cannot go home until after he recovers from his surgery and has been tested (which will be in a few weeks).
