Chia seeds are small and so am I. But don’t get me wrong, I am in no way dainty. I don’t let my size hold me back and I am one of the fiercest kittens . . . with my siblings, of course. Even though I’m a good ¾ pound smaller than my brother, Flax, I’ll take him on as a wrestling partner. Usually, he has the upper hand, but occasionally I am the one chasing after him in hot pursuit as he sprints around the room. Although I’m not one for big hugs and smooches, I think laps make the best wrestling places. I’ll probably always fit in your lap because, based on the size of my tiny paws, I’m probably not going to be a big cat. I am a brave little kitten who is ready to battle anything that stands in my way to a happy life.

I won’t miss an opportunity to take a nap in my foster caregiver’s lap . . . if she stays long enough for me to get tired out. If I am snuggled in her lap, I make sure to bathe my siblings before dozing off. I will blissfully stretch out my toes in my sleep as my foster caregiver strokes the soft fur on my back.

My siblings and I are as close as peanut butter and jelly. I would hate to be pulled away from them, so I would preferably want to go to my forever home with one of them. When you visit me, come see if Pumpkin, Flax, Sesame, Poppy, or Sunflower would be another perfect match for you.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.

Note: Chia is available for pre-adoption. You can meet her in her foster home now, however, since she has yet to be spayed or tested for FeLV/FIV, she cannot go home until after she recovers from her surgery and has been tested (which will be in a few weeks).
