I’m Sunflower, Sunny for short. I do indeed have a sunny personality as my name suggests. Have you ever heard the rumor that tortis and calicos have strong, sometimes temperamental personalities? Well, I am nothing like that. I am one of the sweetest, most relaxed kittens in my litter. I still love to play of course, especially with those crinkly mylar balls, but I won’t tear around your house at 100 miles an hour like my sister, Pumpkin, will.
I have incredibly soft bunny fur and will often purr when I’m being petted. I also like to squeak at my caregiver so she’ll pick me up and put me on a table. I like our table; it’s high and I can look around the whole room. I’ll stretch out and roll around on my back up there, hoping for some petting. If nobody will pet me, I’ll come down and join my siblings in a game of chase or ping pong soccer. Then, when it’s nap time, if I feel sleepy, I’ll hop in a lap and bathe my siblings before I fall asleep.
So if I sound like the kitten for you, come pay me and my siblings (Flax, Pumpkin, Chia, Sesame, and Poppy) a visit. I would really like to be adopted with one of them, because they keep me company and always have fun games to play. I’m a little shy, but once I get used to you, I am the sweet kitten you’ve always wanted. I would also prefer a home without young children because they can make me nervous.
Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
Note: Sunflower is available for pre-adoption. You can meet her in her foster home now, however, since she has yet to be spayed or tested for FeLV/FIV, she cannot go home until after she recovers from her surgery and has been tested (which will be in a few weeks).
