Do you like Strawberries?  I do.  Well, I’ve never tasted the fruit, but I sure like me!  I’m Strawberry, and I used to be the biggest of the litter.  (Not anymore, because both my brothers passed me in weight.)  You will recognize me by my lean frame, like my Mama’s, and shorter, browner, fur.  I have a LOT of energy.  Wrestling with my siblings is really fun, though I can play a bit rough sometimes.  I also love toys.  Feather wand toys are one of my favorites.  I will play with them for hours, jumping high through the air.  If I misjudge my landing and land on my back, I will just get right back up and attack the toy.

When I’m fully tired out, I won’t miss the opportunity for lap time . . . if my foster caregiver sticks around for that long.  I love belly rubs and sometimes will even sleep on my back.  I’ll also stick out my tongue and give you some licks, even if you don’t have tuna on your arm.  You can hold me all you want and if I’m not too pumped up, I will let you hold me on my back and give me some belly rubs.

I make cute little squeaky noises when I’m waking up from a nap.  My foster caregiver can’t help but laugh.  If I want to sit by the window, I  will look up at you and meow.  Just like my Mama, I’ll sit up there for a long time looking out at the outdoors.  I’m good and don’t climb the screens, too!

Mothering is another one of my skills.  I take good care of my siblings by licking them clean, just like my brother Blackberry does.  They appreciate it, closing their eyes in bliss, and I sometimes receive some licks back.  I enjoy these bonding moments with my siblings just as much as I do the wrestling.

Since wrestling is one of my favorites, please adopt me with one of my siblings.  I’m not sure what I’d do without them.  Blackberry is great because he puts up with my rough-housing, and we love to play together!

Strawberry is a young kitten and will need to go to a home where there is another young cat or be adopted with one of her siblings (check out Blackberry)  so that she has a playmate. For more information about Strawberry, please call Joan at 651-705-6264.
